Hanashi no you're not moving because your mom is marrying this dude but you and all your friends have decided that the day before you move we will kidnap you and you will only be allowed to see your mom once a month only she has to come down here instead of you going up there (just like the guy should have come down here for her)and it will all go just fine

The guy has been trying to move to North Carolina for a while, but he can't sell his house in this economy (See?! The economy is to blame for EVERYTHING!) We're moving back down as soon as possible. Probably 1 or 2 years.
